Who to Choose in 2012

Nov 03

We should all at least know and fully understand Barack Obama is not working and must be replaced in 2012. The only problem we as a nation and as the Republican Party is just to find out which person should fill his shoes. This is something I have struggled with and have watched many of the top political pundits in America today ponder as well.

As I’ve considered the viable candidates, which come down to Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul, I’ve debated with myself on whether to follow my beliefs (RonPaul2012.com) or what I feel is best for the country (Newt.org). For me, foreign policy and national security are still very important issues even in pressing economic times such as these and Rep. Paul is hard to trust. Not only this, I feel Speaker Gingrich has the plans necessary to point our economy towards success, rather than the track to failure we’re on now.

Every candidate has their problems, its the one’s with the solutions that matters.

While all candidates have problems, and “bones in their closets”, we need several things in our party’s nominee and eventual President. First and foremost, we need a leader who will actually lead. Second, we need a candidate who will represent America amicably and exceptionally on the world stage. Third, we need someone who will bring to the table both ideas and solutions proven to work and the ability to work across party lines while maintaining conservative principles.

Based on these three requirements, I am left to choose Newt Gingrich. I would love to elaborate on my many reasons, however I am committed to keeping my post short, sweet, and to the point! Take a look at his solutions: http://newt.org/solutions/

Let me know what you think!
