Some Thoughts on Israel
May 21
Just another reason to disagree with the President: exactly what I was in need of. Okay, you obviously know that was a joke. Over the past few months, I’d ceased watching Glenn Beck; I was sick of his blah blah about the end of the world… a bit too depressing for me. This week, Tuesday actually, I got home about 4PM and thought, “I’ll check Glenn Beck out!” So I flipped over to 360 (Fox News) to see what he had to say. He was discussing the occurrences in Israel and uprisings in the Arabic nations saying that Jerusalem was in danger of being split up, having the historic areas controlled by Muslims and closed to Jews and Christians. He went on to explain the loss of Israel would cause the breakdown of the Western world. Also, he said “you are probably thinking ‘what the hell does this have to do with me?’ Well here’s your answer: it doesn’t now, but it soon will.” As in many other cases, I considered it another conspiracy theory and viewed it as craziness. Several days later, not quite several, just two, I came home and proceeded to do the same. When his show came on, so did the headlines of President Obama slinging a major slap in the face of our only reliable, remaining ally – Israel. After hearing his words “The United States believes that negotiations should result in two states, with permanent Palestinian borders with Israel, Jordan, and Egypt, and permanent Israeli borders with Palestine.” Okay, Sir, the “United States” doesn’t agree with this… You and your liberal cronies do. He then continued, “We believe the borders of Israel and Palestine should be based on the 1967 lines with mutually agreed swaps, so that secure and recognized borders are established for both states,” which is even less agreeable. These “1967 lines” are just what Beck was alluding to when talking about Jerusalem. After the video of Obama played, Glenn Beck appeared on screen saying “I told you it would affect you, I just didn’t think it would so soon.” He couldn’t be more right. If your Judeo-Christian, your scriptures say any nation against Israel will fail. Knock knock… God doesn’t lie! If your not Judeo-Christian, it’s a common sense thing… There is ONE standing, working democracy in the Middle East; one free country: Israel. Why would you risk loosing that for some crazy Muslims whose goal is to eliminate an entire race? HELLO! I could go on for several days, but 415 words are enough.
